GWP’s Drum Shop can repair, tune, and customize your rope or bolt tuned hand drum. Jason has been building drums and teaching others how to rehead drums for 12 years. When a drum is sent to us for repair you can relax knowing Jason and his team of drum techs will repair your drum to top condition or build you a top of the line drum from scratch.
Custom Drum Building:
We order and build a drum of your choosing. You choose your drum shell type, origin, style of rope, type of skin, wood stain, painting, ring, size, etc. We will use our preferred vendors from West Africa, Indonesia, United States, and
Canada to fulfill your order. Contact us. We can discuss your needs and provide you with a quote. Most work takes approximately 3-4 weeks from the time the drum shell arrives to our shop. Shipping is not included in pricing. See our online store for general pricing.

Drum Repair
Basic Tuning: $15-50 depending on tightness & preference.
Basic Head Replacement: $100 includes quality skin and basic tuning of full size drum
Advance Rehead and Tuning Package: $125

How to get your drum repaired:
- Send or deliver your packed drum to one of the Orlando locations below
- Make payment for basic rehead ($100) in person, online using the online store, or call us at 407-484-0026
- After a full inspection of the drum you will be provided details about the drum and return shipping charges. Drum repair begins once basic repair payment is received.
- Most drums are complete in 2-3 weeks. Due to various drum conditions, global supply, and other concerns please approximate 4 weeks plus shipping time for every drum repair. Expedited Repair is available in our online store.
